NLAB4CIT

Network of laboratories for civic technologies co-production.
NLAB4CIT aims to make public services more accessible through a network of local public administrations, research institutions, and civil society organizations conducting co-production processes supported by civic technologies. The project established an online repository of tools and participatory approaches, along with three local pilots in Roeselare (Belgium), Kaisariani (Greece), and Collegno (Italy). In Collegno, the CommonsHood app was field-tested to innovate youth participation processes while promoting access to local socio-cultural and economic services. Young volunteers received cryptographic tokens in recognition of their civic engagement, which could be redeemed for subsidized access to local cultural events and commercial services.
