COSO

Comunità Organizzata per Scambio Oggetti (Organized Community for Item Exchange)

COSO is a community-driven initiative advocating for responsible consumption through reuse, recycling, waste reduction, and sharing. Located in the Borgo Campidoglio neighborhood of Turin, COSO activated a neighborhood “Library of Things” where exchanges are facilitated by the CommonsHood app. Through the wallet app, participants collaboratively manage item lending and generate a local community currency (the “COSO token”), which recognizes and encourages social relationship-building exchanges.
